During a recent visit to Silver Bay Public Library, I had the opportunity to see library staff and patrons using the Scan for Keeps kit to digitize slides.
Library staff members Eileen Anselment and Julie Billings were available to assist patrons as needed (top photo) . Two library patrons were organizing slides in preparation for the scanning process (bottom photo).
The kit is available for loan to libraries. Minitex transports the equipment to the library via the delivery system in coordination with Arrowhead Library System. Contact Mollie Stanford at Arrowhead Library System for more information.
