On recent site visits to local libraries, I took note of some trending ideas. I found comfy seating at the Babbitt Public Library that provides an inviting atmosphere for patrons to enjoy a good book. At Hibbing Public Library, I noticed mobile shelving in the Children’s area. Not only does this provide an inviting look for children to see resources just for them, it also provides easy mobility for programming that takes place in the children’s area.
