On Tuesday, June 17, the City of Ely and the ELy Public Library hosted a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Ely Public Library building. It was a gorgeous northern Minnesota day and the construction timeline calls for the new library to be open later this Fall. A reception was held after the event which featured a array of  delicious baked goods that were baked by library director Rachel Heinrich.

Congratulations to our friends in Ely!
