May is going to be a busy month in the Arrowhead Library System!  Christian Cotruvo will be playing her harp and discussing her music, Frederick Blanch will be sharing his travels and jungle photography skills at a number of libraries, Katha Dancers will be demonstrating their cultural dance style from India, and a number of Minnesota History Center players Virginia Mae Hope (WWII pilot), Maud Hart Lovelace (author), and Frederick Mckinley Jones (inventor) will be visiting area libraries.

But that is not all! Event tickets are available for the  Les Trompettes at the Backus Auditorium in International Falls, on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 7:30 pm.  Don’t miss these five prodigiously competent trumpet masters, in no way starchy, as they guide you with lightness, smartness and brilliance through all ages, forms and tones of their instruments!
