The Arrowhead Library System is pleased to present One-Dog Canoe and More! A Visit with Mary Casanova

You’re invited to meet celebrated Minnesota author Mary Casanova! With a PowerPoint program including images of northwoods animals, book covers and illustrations, Mary will recount her journey growing up in a family of ten, struggling with reading, and discovering that books are a window into the world and writing is a way to “have a voice.” Audiences of all ages engage with Mary’s warm presentation style, including Q&A, and respond with a greater desire to read–and write stories of their own. Program is 55 minutes in length, and while geared towards grades K-5, any age is welcome to attend!
