Join Yvonne Rutford, Ryan Vine, and Julie Gard at 7:00 PM on April 9th for a poetry reading at the Grand Marais Public Library.
Yvonne Rutford’s poetry collection, This Fragile Nest, was published in 2009. Her work is known for its humor and heart, and for her devotion to the environment.
Ryan Vine is the author of Distant Engines, winner of a 2005 Weldon Kees Award. Vine’s work is urban and urbane, energetic and adventurous.
Julie Gard has published short fiction prose poetry. She has received grants from the Fulbright Foundation, the Arrowhead Regional Artists Council, and the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund. She works with found objects, old photographs and thrift shopdicards to create text that speaks her version of the truth.
