It has been at least 25 years, and probably longer, since there were no vacant positions on the ALS Board! The “new” ALS Board has now met twice (July 12 & August 9). In the weeks ahead, all ALS Board members will serve as members of the ALS Strategic Planning Team along with member library directors and ALS staff. There’s work to be done, but board members have rolled up their sleeeves and are ready.
