Readers of DorothyL listserv posted the memorable books read in 2017. The count represents the number of times each title was included. Below are the thirty-seven most-cited titles. All but one title, The Question of the Absentee Father, are available in the regional catalog, although Police at the Station and They Don’t Look Friendly is only available in the regional catalog as downloadable audiobook. Minnesota’s own William Kent Krueger is absent from this year’s list, but the Minnesota mother-daughter writing team, P.J. Tracy, make an appearance with Nothing Stays Buried. For the seventh year in a row, a Louise Penny title was the highest vote-getter.
