2019’s Most Popular Mystery Books

Readers of DorothyL listserv posted the memorable books read in 2019. The count represents the number of times each title was included in the “voting”. Below are the twenty-three most-cited titles. All of the titles are available in the regional catalog, usually with multiple libraries and multiple formats. Minnesota’s own William Kent Krueger was not among the top vote-getters this year, although P.J. Tracy made it! Back on top this year is seven-time “winner” Louise Penny who somehow was not represented among the top books a year ago.
