Acrylic Painting Take & Create Art Kits — October 2023

The Arrowhead Library System (ALS) will be providing Acrylic Painting Take & Create Art Kits to member public libraries to distribute October 1-31, 2023.  This art experience has been designed by 321 Art Studio in Chisholm and explores acrylic painting for beginners and more advanced participants.  Take & Create Art Kits will include supplies to create two unique pictures – one round stretched canvas, three 4 x 4 inch canvas panels to create a triptych, and an acrylic paint set with brush. Two follow-along instructional videos have been created for participants – one for the round canvas painting and one for the triptych painting.  Both videos include simple instructions and tips on using paint, canvas, and brushes.  Each kit will include enough supplies for two paintings or more, so participants have multiple options to practice and create something of their own.  Kits will be distributed at the following public libraries and ALS outreach locations:
