The Arrowhead Library System is pleased to present Dance for All with Dance Artist Sophia McLaughlin.
All are welcome to this contemporary dance class. Using improvisation and set dance sequences the class will move together to create joyful community. Dancers will copy and create movements that represent shapes, qualities, and patterns. Together the group will learn how observations and imagination can create new and innovative movement possibilities. No previous dance training is required as this class will be accessible for everyone.
Dance Artist Sophia has experience teaching children, young adults, elderly, blind communities, and people with mental and physical disabilities. If you have questions about accessibility for these workshops, please reach out to ALS for more information (als@alslib.info).
