READING PROGRAMS

Arrowhead Library System is a proud supporter of summer and winter reading programming throughout our seven county region. Regional patrons may participate in programming through Mail-A-Book, by visiting the ALS Bookmobile, or by signing up at your local participating public library. Themes vary from year to year, but program activities always support literacy development and encourage life long library use. These programs are optional for public libraries — to find out if your local library is offering a summer or winter reading program, please visit our Member Public Library page for contact information.

Level Up at Your Library — 2025 Summer Reading Program

Arrowhead Library System supports the iREAD Summer Reading Program — the 2025 theme is Level Up at Your Library.  Contact your library this summer to get signed up, and check out our blog post to see when library’s summer programs start and end!

Theme to be Announced — 2025-2026 Winter Reading Program

Every year, the Arrowhead Library System Graphic Designer creates themed Winter Reading Program materials for member libraries, including posters, bookmarks, and reading logs for youth and teens.  Our 2024-2025 ALS Winter Reading Program theme was Snow Better Time to Read! Contact your local public library for more information!
