The finalists have been announced for the third annual Minnesota Author Project in the Adult and Young Adult Fiction and the Communities Create categories — please note three are from the Arrowhead Library System region, yay!

Journeys: An Anthology of Adult Student Writing, submitted by Literacy Minnesota

Legacies: Poetic Living Wills, submitted by Northfield Poet Laureate and Northfield Public Library

Justice Makes a Difference: The Story of Miss Freedom Fighter, Esquire, submitted by Planting People Growing Justice

Saint Paul Almanac: Resistance and Resilience, submitted by Saint Paul Almanac

Winners will be announced at the 2020 Minnesota Library Association Annual Conference and will receive $1,000, sponsored by the Minnesota Library Foundation and BiblioLabs.  Winners will also be honored at an Indie Author Project Celebration, be included in a full-page print spread in Library Journal, and have opportunities to promote their work around the state.
